PETALING JAYA: The North-South Expressway’s Ipoh Utara-Ipoh Selatan stretch will be temporarily closed between 10am and 2.30pm tomorrow to facilitate an emergency response exercise.
Highway operator PLUS Malaysia Bhd advised southbound motorists from Kuala Kangsar, Penang and other northern areas to plan their journey accordingly.
“Throughout the closure, southbound highway users from the north/Kuala Kangsar will be diverted to the Ipoh Utara toll plaza and (are) advised to use the FT240 Jelapang-Ampang slip road.
“Highway users heading south are advised to re-enter the NSE via the Ipoh Selatan toll plaza,” PLUS said in a statement.
It urged highway users to adhere to all traffic signages and instructions given by PLUS personnel during the closure.
