50 areas in Petaling district hit by water cut

This follows a burst pipe in Jalan Kerinci last night.

Water is expected to be fully restored in the Petaling district by 6pm today.
KUALA LUMPUR:
Up to 50 areas in the Petaling district will experience water supply disruption following a burst pipe at the Bukit Angkasa intersection at Jalan Kerinci last night.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said water supply will be shut down at midnight to allow repairs to be carried out. They are expected to be completed by noon today.

Its corporate communications head Elina Baseri said water supply is expected to be fully restored by 6pm.

She said water tankers will be sent to the affected areas: Taman OUG, Bukit OUG, Taman Perindustrian OUG, Taman Bukit Indah, Taman Nam Fong, Taman Tan Yew Lai, Kinrara Business Centre & Lavender Apartments, Taman Kinrara, Taman Lucky Puchong, Taman Pandyan, Taman Kanagapuram (Section 18 PJ), Seputeh, Taman Halimahton, Taman Bukit Desa, Taman Lee Yan Lian, Petaling Bahagia, Taman Bukit Indah, Taman Desa, Taman Angkasa Puchong, Taman Puchong Indah, Gasing Indah, Jalan Klang Lama Batu 3 to 8, Taman Seri Sentosa, Taman Kandan, Batu 6 1/2 Puchong Kinrara Quarters, Kinrara TUDM Camp, Taman Park Siong, PJ New Town, PJ Old Town, PJ Section 1 to 14, Section 22, Section 51A, Section 52, Jalan Gasing, Jalan Tandang, Jalan Kilang, Lorong Asrama Pantai Dalam, Kampung Pasir, Kampung Dato Tatah, Pantai Dalam, Pantai Hill Park, Pantai Permai, Angkasapuri, Kerinchi, KL Gate Way Kerinchi, Pantai Dalam PKNS Flats, SS9 and parts of SS9A.
