Business management expert Benjamin Laker from the Henley Business School at the University of Reading is set to tour Asia next month to promote the launch of his latest book.

Advanced Strategic Management: A Dynamic Approach to Competition is geared specifically towards students, educators and business professionals navigating the complexities of modern strategic management.

The book has already garnered glowing endorsements from professors at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Oxford.

Laker will travel to Malaysia first, the economy of which he recently analysed for Forbes magazine, and then to Singapore and Hong Kong where he will engage with academic and business communities.

It is expected that the launch event will take place at the University of Reading’s EduCity campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

The university is also hosting two other events of note: an alumni reception at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 7, and an alumni high tea at the university’s EduCity campus on Aug 10.
