PETALING JAYA:
The Sarawak government plans to send some of its civil servants for training at the Henley Business School in the UK, says premier Abang Johari Openg.

Abang Johari said the collaboration with the business school, his alma mater which is affiliated with the University of Reading, would see three officers sent there annually.

He added that this number would be increased from time to time, The Borneo Post reported.

The premier said this would expand the capacity of Sarawak’s public service while equipping mid-level officers for technological advancements and global challenges.

“This is a new approach to train our officers, especially those from the mid-level so that they are capable of keeping abreast with current changes,” he was quoted as saying.
