Benjamin Laker, an esteemed professor of leadership and the dean of impact and global engagement at Henley Business School of the University of Reading, UK, will be going on an Asian tour soon to promote his latest book, Job Crafting.

The book, which will be released by the MIT Press next month, follows his successful previous publication, Closing the Service Gap, published by the Financial Times last year.

The tour will notably feature engagements with leading corporations in Malaysia and Singapore, including an exclusive collaboration with Singapore Airlines.

This concept goes beyond traditional job descriptions, offering a practical framework for employees to align their work with their personal strengths and ambitions.

Aside from meeting several corporations in the region, Laker will also deliver lectures at some of Singapore’s top universities, including the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Singapore University of Technology and Design.

These events will provide students and academic professionals with a rare opportunity to delve into the latest advancements in job design and organisational development, guided by one of the field’s leading voices.

Laker’s previous book, Closing The Service Gap, received widespread acclaim. It was notably endorsed by Apple, Google, Intel, and Microsoft.
