According to Harian Metro, the suspect is believed to have started committing the acts in 2017, with the last incident taking place earlier this month.

Muar police chief Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said the suspect was arrested yesterday after health workers discovered that the 15-year-old daughter was pregnant during a checkup at a hospital.

She had gone for a checkup after experiencing chest pains.

Raiz said the suspect has been remanded for a week. He said the victims were in the process of giving their statements.

The case is being investigated under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code, which provides for up to 30 years’ jail and a maximum of 10 strokes of the rotan upon conviction.
