Terengganu PN chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the PN presidential council will finalise the matter at its inter-party consultation committee meeting.
“What I can say is that the seat negotiations at the state level are going well. The meeting will then decide the number of seats that PAS, Bersatu and Gerakan will contest,” the PAS vice-president told reporters here today.
Meanwhile, Samsuri, who is also the Terengganu menteri besar, said PN will announce some big names from various political parties who will join the coalition early next month.
Six states – PH-controlled Penang, Selangor, and Negeri Sembilan, and PAS-led Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu – must hold their elections within the next three months.
