Cops hunt man suspected of brutal assault in Cheras

The victim suffered brain haemorrhage, a cracked skull and a broken neck as a result.

Police are looking for one Farid Afizi Jaafar.
PETALING JAYA:
Police are hunting down a man suspected of brutally assaulting a 32-year-old in Jalan Budiman, Cheras, last month.

The suspect has been identified as Farid Afizi Jaafar, 42, from Cheras.

Cheras police chief Zam Halim Jamaluddin said the video clip of the assault was discovered on Facebook today.

The assault left the victim with a brain haemorrhage, a cracked skull and a broken neck.

He was admitted to hospital on April 20 and is still undergoing treatment.

Investigations found that the assault took place after the two men had an argument.
