PETALING JAYA: DAP’s Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii has taken over as Pakatan Harapan (PH) Youth chief.
Yii, who is also the DAP Youth chief, replaces Pasir Pinji assemblyman Howard Lee in the post. His appointment was confirmed in a statement by the PH youth wing.
Lee took over the position after former PH Youth chief Shazni Munir Mohd Ithnin died of Covid-19 complications last August.
Yii’s deputies are Amanah Youth chief Hasbie Muda, PKR Youth chief Adam Adli, head of Amanah Youth’s women’s wing Nurthaqaffah Nordin, and Upko Youth chief Felix Joseph Saang.
“PH Youth expresses its commitment to champion the interests and wishes of young people,” it said in a statement.
