PETALING JAYA:
Water supply to 13 areas in Kuala Lumpur, which was disrupted due to a burst pipe at Jalan Kuari Bukit A yesterday, is being restored.

Air Selangor said repair work was completed late last night and restoration of water supply had reached 35% as of 7am today.

“Air Selangor is working to stabilise the water supply distribution system. As such, the duration of the water supply recovery differs from one area to another depending on the location and distance of consumers’ premises,” its corporate communications head, Elina Baseri, said in a statement.

She said the supply is expected to be fully restored by 6pm.

In the meantime, she said, water tankers will continue to be mobilised in the affected areas.
