PARIT BUNTAR: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mujahid Yusof Rawa is demanding an apology from PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang over a statement published on the party’s website Harakahdaily.
Mujahid said the statement, titled “Ijazahnya ada, akalnya kerdil” (Has degree but small brain), was referring to him.
“The statement that was being played up and had gone viral said that the Prophet Muhammad did not attend university, and had no degree, but I did not say so.
“What I had not said was turned into an article… It is indirectly referring to a minister, certainly it’s me,” he told reporters after opening the annual general meeting of the Malaysian Pensioners Association for the Kerian district here.
