Cops investigate case of siblings missing from kindergarten

The brother and sister were taken by a woman and two men, on the pretext of bringing them for a health checkup.

KUALA LUMPUR:
Two siblings were believed to have been taken away by three individuals, including a woman, at a kindergarten in Section 16, Petaling Jaya on Thursday morning.

According to the children’s aunt who declined to be identified, Raheel Khan, 6, and his younger sister Aleya Reyhana, 4, were found missing when another aunt went to pick them up from the kindergarten.

It is understood that the two siblings were taken by a woman on the pretext of bringing them for a health checkup at 9am.

Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din when contacted by Bernama confirmed receiving a report on the incident.

“A report has been received and the investigation is ongoing,” he said.

Members of the public with any information on the two missing children are advised to contact the police.
