PETALING JAYA:
The Kuala Lumpur High Court today postponed the divorce hearing involving a former public prosecutor and his estranged wife after both parties and their lawyers did not show up.

The Star Online reported that no new date has been set for the proceedings on the case between Stanley Clement Augustin and Nika Gee Siew Yee.

The former had filed for a divorce last year, alleging that his spouse had been involved in an affair with a prominent political figure from Johor.

On Dec 7 last year, Augustin reportedly made a Statutory Declaration (SD) claiming that his wife had intimate relationship with the politician and had also received received financial aid and other material benefits in the process.

The accused politician had last week denounced online reports naming him as the third party in the break-up of the marriage between Augustin and Gee, calling such allegations slanderous and unfounded.
