PETALING JAYA:
Abdul Rani Kulup, also dubbed the ‘King of Police Reports’, has said he is “disappointed” with mainstream media such as TV1 and TV3 for sidelining him and his struggles for the nation.

Speaking to FMT yesterday, he said that the media should devote ample airtime to him because he has tirelessly championed the rights of the rakyat.

He did not discount the possibility that this was a directive issued from the top, as the police had previously cautioned him after he received the title of ‘Datuk’ from the self-proclaimed Sultan of Malacca.

“I am very disappointed with the pro-establishment media, TV1 and TV3 for not airing the story of my struggles for the nation. Why stop me? I am not a politician, I just champion what’s right for the rakyat, for my religion, race and country.

“They stopped me from going on television, because the police warned people about me going on air recently. There are even whispers that instructions came from the top to deny me airtime. This means that they do not agree with my fight to eradicate crime.”

“The authorities should be thanking me because I have been tireless in fighting for the people,” said the President of Martabat Jalinan Muhibah Malaysia.

Rani said although the pro-government media has ignored him, he will nonetheless continue to make police reports to ensure that the interests of the rakyat are not forgotten.

He also requested that Communications and Multimedia Minister, Salleh Said Keruak investigate the mastermind behind this directive and take action against others involved.
