PETALING JAYA:
Raymond Goh, a renowned anchor of TV3’s Nightline news bulletin, has been hospitalised after a stroke.

Goh’s student, Abdullah Pak Lah, provided an update on the former’s condition in a heartfelt Facebook post.

Abdullah revealed that Goh is in critical condition and is warded at Assunta Hospital in Petaling Jaya .

He praised Goh’s remarkable kindness and generosity of spirit, and appealed to the public for their prayers and support.

With a career spanning over three decades, Goh actively mentored those who wanted to enhance their speaking abilities and presentation quality.

Goh’s recent participation in the #BacaBeritaChallengeTV3 on TikTok resonated deeply with netizens, who said they missed his iconic voice.

Dubbed by Tatler Malaysia magazine as “The man with the golden voice”, Goh has lent his voice to numerous commercials and documentaries as well as corporate videos.

He has wide experience in the news broadcasting industry and hosted the now defunct radio show on Astro “Talk Radio” before later returning to TV3 to anchor the Nightline news broadcast in November 2007.
