
Goh died this morning, according to his family. He was 62.
“Raymond passed away peacefully this morning after bravely battling the effects of a stroke.
“We would like to express our gratitude to his friends and supporters for the outpouring of love and support during this trying period,” they said in a brief statement.
Goh, whose Muslim name is Zaman Goh, had more than 30 years of broadcasting experience and also provided speech training.
He will be buried at the Bukit Kiara Muslim cemetery later today.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim offered his condolences to Goh’s family and paid tribute to him over his longtime role at TV3.
“The world of broadcasting will miss him and surely his contributions and service will be remembered forever,” he said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
