PETALING JAYA: Nik Abduh, son of the late PAS spiritual adviser Tuan Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat, or TGNA, was excluded as an election candidate by a Kelantan leader, according to Nik Abduh’s uncle.
Nik Din Nik Mat, brother of Nik Aziz, said his nephew, a former MP for Bachok, was supposed to be a candidate in the current state assembly elections.
In a video clip making the rounds on social media, Nik Din claimed that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang had personally requested that Nik Abduh be named as a candidate in the state elections.
