<p>Founded by Rick Chee, Food Aid Foundation has spent over a decade ensuring fewer Malaysians go to bed hungry. Their mission is simple but powerful: to rescue and redistribute surplus food.</p>
<p>With a unique strategy, the NGO recovers perfectly good food nearing expiration or unsellable but still safe to eat, ensuring it reaches those in need instead of ending up in landfills.</p>
<p>FMT Lifestyle spent a day with their team to witness the process of collecting and distributing food to various People&#8217;s Housing Programme (PPR) flats in Kuala Lumpur.</p>
