IPOH: A couple both aged 70 were killed and a 63-year-old man injured after their cars collided in Jalan Maharajalela near Teluk Intan this afternoon, which left the couple and the other driver pinned inside the wreckage.
The Perak fire and rescue department said firefighters used special hydraulic rescue tools to extricate all the victims.
He said the collision involved a Proton Persona and the couple’s Toyota Vios. The driver of the Persona sustained injuries to his hands and legs after being trapped in the driver’s seat.
