PETALING JAYA:
Police today arrested a man suspected of kicking a car at the Kajang-Seremban Expressway’s (Lekas) Kajang toll plaza, as seen in a video that has gone viral on social media.

Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said the 24-year-old suspect was arrested in Kajang after a 65-year-old e-hailing driver, whose car was damaged, lodged a police report over the 4pm incident yesterday.

The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief, which provides for one to five years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both, upon conviction.

“The cause and motive behind the incident are still under investigation,” Harian Metro reported Naazron as saying.

He advised road users to be considerate, obey traffic laws, and drive safely.
