Selangor fire and rescue department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said they received an emergency call at 1.25pm and firefighters from the Sungai Besar station were deployed to the scene at Kampung Belia 2, about 28km away.
He said the car had skidded, struck a road divider, and turned turtle.
“Three victims were involved, comprising the male driver in his 30s, who was pinned to his seat, a woman in her 30s, who was seriously injured, and a two-year-old girl, who sustained minor injuries.
“It is understood that the victims were a family,” he said in a statement.
The injured were rescued by the public before first responders arrived.
The man was extricated from the vehicle and confirmed dead at the scene.
