The Malaysian Highway Authority, in an update at 10pm, said there was congestion at the following northbound stretches.
• Tapah – Gopeng; Gopeng – Simpang Pulai; Menora – Sg Perak; Kuala Kangsar – Bukit Gantang; Changkat Jering – Taiping, Bukit Merah – Alor Pongsu and Jawi – Sg Bakap.

On the E1 southbound lanes, congestion was reported at: Kepala Batas – Hutan Kampung; Alor Setar – Pendang; Seberang Jaya – Prai; Bandar Baharu – Alor Pongsu; Kuala Kangsar – Terowong Meru; Bidor – Sungkai, and Tanjung Malim – Lembah Beringin.

An accident on the southbound Bidor-Sungkai stretch, caused congestion, with the emergency lane being blocked.

On the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway, congestion was reported on the westbound lanes at Bentong – Bukit Tinggi and Genting Sempah – Gombak toll plaza.

On the E2, congestion was reported in Negeri Sembilan and Johor stretches of the North-South Highway.

Heavy traffic was reported on the northbound lanes at Bukit Gambir – Tangkak; Tangkak – Jasin; R&R Ayer Keroh – Simpang Ampat and Pedas Linggi – Port Dickson. On the southbound lanes, congestion was reported at: Pedas Linggi – Simpang Ampat; Port Dickson – Senawang; Yong Peng – Ayer Hitam and Simpang Renggam – Sedenak.
