Man shot dead at Klang petrol station

Selangor police chief says the incident took place at around 11pm while the victim was still in his car at the petrol station in Bukit Tinggi.

A man was killed in a shooting incident at a petrol station in Bukit Tinggi, Klang, last night.

Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar said an individual had fired several shots at a car, hitting the 34-year-old victim, at about 11pm.

“Police received information from the public reporting a shooting incident at a petrol station in the Klang Selatan area,” he said in a statement today.

Shazeli appealed to those with information to contact senior investigating officer Aminuddin Mahadi at 013-2104006 or the Klang Selatan police headquarters at 03-33762222.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

Earlier, a video went viral showing a man, reportedly shot, being carried by medical personnel for treatment.
