
KUALA LUMPUR: Police are investigating an incident involving a disabled teenage girl who alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a classmate in the restroom of a secondary school in Cheras here on Tuesday.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus said a police report had been lodged regarding the incident.
“Investigations are ongoing,” he said in a statement.
It is understood that the incident was discovered by the 16-year-old girl’s mother when she informed her that a male student had pulled her into the restroom and sexually assaulted her.
The girl managed to escape and leave the school premises before reporting the incident to her mother.
