PETALING JAYA:
Train services on the Kelana Jaya LRT line are currently experiencing service delays after a power supply disruption between the Putra Heights and Wangsa Maju stations.

Rapid KL said all trains from the Putra Heights station would turn back at the Wangsa Maju station until further notice.

A shuttle service will be operating from the Wangsa Maju station to the Taman Melati and Gombak stations in both directions.

Rapid KL advised passengers travelling to Gombak to tap out their card or token at the Wangsa Maju station before boarding shuttle buses to the Taman Melati or Gombak stations.

Ticketing systems at nine stations are also affected by the power supply disruption, and passengers are advised to make fare payments at their destination station instead.

The affected stations are Gombak, Taman Melati, Wangsa Maju, Sri Rampai, Setia Wangsa, Jelatek, Datuk Keramat and Damai.

Additionally, Rapid KL also announced that trains on the LRT Kelana Jaya line will make longer-than-usual stops at all platforms to manage passenger flow and ensure safety.

The company apologised for the inconvenience and said it would continue to provide updates on its social media platforms.
