Rapid KL says repair works are in progress.

Rapid KL advised commuters to use alternative rail lines to reach their destinations, such as the Ampang/Sri Petaling Line, Kajang Line, Putrajaya Line, and Monorail Line.
PETALING JAYA:
The Kelana Jaya LRT Line is experiencing delays due to a technical issue involving a train that is unable to move.

In a Facebook post, Rapid KL said repair works are in progress.

“Train services are experiencing delays due to a train unable to move because of a component issue at Kelana Jaya station,” the rail operator said.

It said passengers are advised to use alternative rail lines to reach their destinations, such as the Ampang/Sri Petaling Line, Kajang Line, Putrajaya Line, and Monorail Line.

“To ensure passenger safety and smooth crowd movement, entry control and passenger flow management are in effect at the affected stations,” it added.

In a separate post, Rapid KL said alternative train services are being provided, with trains from Gombak turning back at the Kelana Jaya LRT station and trains from Putra Heights turning back at the Ara Damansara LRT station, both operating at six-minute intervals.

Shuttle trains will also run between the Ara Damansara and Kelana Jaya stations via Platform 2 at eight-minute intervals.

Support bus services are provided between the Ara Damansara and Kelana Jaya stations.
