
PETALING JAYA: Rapid KL announced that several of its LRT and MRT stations in the city centre are temporarily closed from 4pm to 6pm, following earlier shutdowns in the morning.
In a Facebook post, it said the stations have been closed for safety reasons.
The stations, namely Ampang Park and KLCC on the Kelana Jaya LRT Line; Conlay, Persiaran KLCC, and Ampang Park on the Putrajaya MRT Line; and Bukit Bintang on the Kajang MRT Line, were closed earlier between 7am and 12pm.
Rapid KL said that other stations are unaffected and advised commuters to plan their journeys accordingly.
The 47th Asean Summit is taking place from today until Oct 28, with leaders from across the region, as well as US president Donald Trump, convening in Kuala Lumpur.
