PETALING JAYA:
A civil servant with the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) was found dead in his car near a fast-food restaurant at Jalan Batang Kali-Ulu Yam Bharu in Hulu Selangor yesterday.

Hulu Selangor police chief Ibrahim Husin said police received a call from members of the public about the discovery of a body in a vehicle at around 5.20pm.

“Early investigations found that the victim was a 46-year-old man assigned to MPHS who had been driving alone.

“An inspection of the victim’s body found no external injuries, signs of struggle or anything suspicious,” Kosmo reported him as saying today.

Ibrahim said the body was sent to the forensic unit at Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital for a post-mortem, which determined the cause of death as a heart attack.

“The case has been classified as sudden death,” he said, adding that those with information could contact assistant investigating officer Siti Khadijah Nus at 03-60523322 or the nearest police station.
