
In Peninsular Malaysia, the price of diesel remains unchanged at RM2.93 per litre, while it will retail at the subsidised price of RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
These prices will be in effect until Oct 15.
The retail price of RON95 petrol under the BUDI95 programme remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre, while the retail price of non-subsidised RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.60 per litre.
In a statement, the finance ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and adjust the retail prices of RON97.
It also said it will continue to take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s welfare and wellbeing.
The ministry previously said that the retail price of non-subsidised RON95 petrol will remain at RM2.60 per litre this month.
