PETALING JAYA:
Police have nabbed two more youths in connection with a viral video of 20 motorcyclists surrounding and kicking a Perodua Myvi on the highway near the Batu 13 toll plaza in Puchong last Sunday.

Serdang police chief Farid Ahmad said both suspects, aged 16, were picked up in Puchong last night.

“Both were remanded until tomorrow to assist in our investigation. We will refer the investigation paper to the deputy public prosecutor for further action,” Harian Metro reported him as saying.

On Sept 30, police said nine youths aged 13 to 21 years old were arrested after the 52-year-old Myvi driver reported the incident.

The 29-second clip shows motorcyclists closing in on both sides of the Myvi, and one rider punching the driver’s window and kicking the car door, causing a side mirror to shatter.

The case is being investigated under Sections 279 and 427 of the Penal Code for reckless driving and mischief causing loss.
