
The price of RON97 is maintained at RM3.21 per litre and RON95 at RM2.05 per litre.
In Peninsular Malaysia, the price of diesel remains unchanged at RM2.93 per litre, while it will retail at the subsidised price of RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
These prices will be in effect until Sept 29.
Meanwhile, the retail price of RON95 petrol for the police and armed forces under the Budi95 programme is set at RM1.99 per litre effective Sept 27.
The retail price of RON95 petrol for Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) recipients under the Budi95 programme is set at RM1.99 per litre effective Sept 28.
In a statement, the ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s continued welfare and wellbeing.
