PETALING JAYA: A small fire broke out in the kitchen of the Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) outlet at IOI City Mall today, before it was quickly put out by the mall’s workers.
The Selangor fire and rescue department said the fire, which disrupted screenings at the complex, was put out before firemen arrived.
The firemen were alerted to the incident at 10.08am and arrived at 10.24am.
GSC cancelled the screenings at the time, with the affected patrons to be automatically refunded. In an update on Facebook at 2.28pm, it said the screenings have resumed.
