PETALING JAYA: Two motorcyclists were injured when a van crashed into them after being rammed by a lorry in an accident involving six vehicles in Taman Meranti Jaya, Sepang, this morning.
The two motorcyclists were taken to Serdang Hospital for treatment.
Sepang police chief Norhizam Bahaman said the accident occurred at about 9.15am while several vehicles were waiting at a red light.
“Initial investigations showed that a lorry had lost control and slammed into the rear of a van, causing the van to swerve into the opposite lane and collide with two motorcycles,” he said in a statement.
The lorry then hit the back of a car, which was pushed forward into another vehicle. All vehicles involved suffered varying degrees of damage.
