
Utusan Malaysia reported that the 57-year-old is accused of repeatedly raping and assaulting the girls, aged six to 11, at a house in Taman Seri Indah and in Kampung Suka Menanti from December 2023 until this August.
He faces five charges of sexual assault under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and one under Section 14(b), read together with Section 16(1).
The charges each provide for up to 20 years’ imprisonment and whipping, as well as an additional five years and at least two strokes of the rotan if committed by a guardian or a person in a relationship of trust.
He faces another six charges under Section 377B of the Penal Code for committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature with the victims, each charge punishable with up to 20 years’ imprisonment and whipping.
He also faces one charge of rape under Section 376(2)(e) of the Penal Code against the 11-year-old in May 2025, which provides for 10 to 30 years’ imprisonment and whipping.
The prosecution was managed by deputy public prosecutor Nurfatin Mastura Asri, while the accused was unrepresented.
Judge N Priscilla Hemamalini did not allow bail and set Sept 11 for remention of the case and sentencing.
