PETALING JAYA:
No police reports have been lodged over a brawl that took place outside the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium last night after a league match between Kuala Lumpur City FC and Sabah FC.

Cheras police chief Aidil Bolhassan said the incident took place at around 11.15pm at the food truck area outside the stadium, and that the cops were alerted to the fight by the stadium’s staff members.

By the time policemen arrived at the scene, the commotion had subsided and the groups involved had dispersed, he said.

“No injuries have been reported so far. A video of the incident was recorded by a member of the public, who still cannot be contacted. The video was shared to others via AirDrop.

“The incident did not involve the supporters of either of the teams that played last night. The perpetrators could not be identified as they had left before the police arrived,” Aidil said in a statement.
