PETALING JAYA: The price of RON97 will see a 4 sen drop beginning tomorrow, the finance ministry announced.
RON97 petrol will retail at RM3.13 per litre. Last week, it was sold at RM3.17 per litre.
Similarly, the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will reduce by 4 sen to RM2.90 per litre. Last week, it was sold at RM2.94 per litre.
RON95 petrol will continue to be sold at RM2.05 per litre nationwide.
In East Malaysia, diesel will retail at the subsidised price of RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
These prices will be in effect until Aug 20.
The ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s continued welfare and wellbeing.
