PETALING JAYA:
A 67-year-old man was found dead from a gunshot wound at his durian orchard in Negeri Sembilan yesterday in what is believed to be an accidental self-inflicted shooting.

The incident reportedly occurred while the senior citizen was attempting to scare off an intruder he spotted trespassing on his property in Kuala Klawang, Jelebu.

According to a source, the man’s brother-in-law discovered his body after looking for him when he had not returned home by 9pm.

He was found with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Jelebu police chief Azizan Said confirmed that investigations are ongoing and urged the public not to speculate on the case.
