Johor Bahru Selatan police chief Raub Selamat said the incident was sparked when the 63-year-old victim driving the Axia slowed down after missing a turn, Berita Harian reported.
The suspect then overtook the victim before stopping his vehicle in front of the Axia and engaging in a heated argument with the driver.
“The suspect then rammed his four-wheel drive into the Axia three times, damaging the victim’s vehicle,” Raub said, adding that the suspect had a record of seven criminal offences and tested negative for drugs.
Raub said the case is being probed for mischief and causing damage, as well as reckless driving.
