The PKR deputy president claimed yesterday that the confidential letter had been leaked.
Speaking to FMT, Fuziah said she found the issue too trivial to warrant a response, but maintained that Rafizi’s allegation was inaccurate.
“It’s not true that it was only shared with the party president and the secretary-general,” she said.
Rafizi stood his ground yesterday on skipping the party’s Youth and Wanita congress, traditionally opened by the deputy president, citing principles over politics.
The Pandan MP said his refusal stemmed from a breach of party protocol after the Sabah PKR election machinery launch was allegedly announced without prior discussion by the party’s political bureau or central leadership council.
At the Jelajah Hiruk programme in Ipoh last night, Rafizi was reported as saying by Malaysiakini that the letter was addressed to only two people: Anwar and Fuziah. He also asked how the letter had been leaked.
PKR Youth chief Adam Adli confirmed yesterday that the wing had received a copy of Rafizi’s letter to Anwar, in which he declined the invitation despite initially agreeing.
A copy of the letter, which has been circulating on social media, revealed that Wanita PKR chief Fadhlina Sidek was also copied in on it.
