Shots fired as cops foil Subang Jaya break-in

Two men in their 30s and 40s knocked down a policeman on a motorcycle while trying to escape. They were later arrested.

Shots were fired by police when two men tried to flee after they broke into a house in SS14 Subang Jaya today.

Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said policemen fired several shots at the getaway car as the suspects attempted to flee after breaking into the home, Bernama reported.

While trying to escape, they had knocked down a policeman on a motorcycle, which prompted other policemen to shoot at the car.

The pair, in their 30s and 40s, tried to head towards the SS14 flyover before they were cornered by the cops and arrested. They are being investigated for housebreaking and attempted murder.
