PETALING JAYA: Police have clarified that a viral video showing a man’s body found inside a car at the KLCC parking lot is from an incident that took place earlier this year.
In a statement today, Dang Wangi police chief Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said a police report on the incident was lodged on Jan 25 at 5.07pm.
He said an investigation was carried out by the Dang Wangi police with the help of the Kuala Lumpur headquarters’ forensic department.
The body was sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for an autopsy and a full laboratory report is still pending.
“No criminal elements were detected and the case has been classified as sudden death,” he said.
