PETALING JAYA: A 14-year-old student at a secondary school in Melaka died this morning after collapsing following a game of volleyball in school.
Melaka Tengah police chief Christopher Patit said the boy was walking from the school field to the canteen at about 10.30am when he collapsed.
The boy was rushed to Melaka Hospital with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) administered for 30 minutes. He was declared dead at the hospital.
The case has been classified as sudden death while awaiting the autopsy report.
