
PETALING JAYA: The prices of RON97 nationwide and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia have been reduced by five sen for the coming week, the finance ministry announced today.
In a statement, the ministry said the price of RON97 has been reduced to RM3.38 per litre while diesel in Peninsular Malaysia to RM3.13 per litre.
The price of RON95 is maintained at RM2.05 per litre. Diesel will retail at the subsidised price of RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
These prices will be in effect until March 12.
The ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s continued welfare and wellbeing.
