A car caught fire after it collided with a police truck on Jalan Bukit Cerakah in Kapar, Selangor, early this morning.

Kapar fire and rescue department operations commander Nurul Azman Muhammadan said the car was almost completely destroyed, by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

He said his team had received a call at about 6.50am today and rushed to the location.

“The driver of the car sustained a broken leg, while three police personnel suffered minor injuries,” he said in a brief statement.

Nurul Azman added that an ambulance was rushed to the scene.
