PETALING JAYA: A nine-year-old boy trying to retrieve his slippers is feared to have drowned in a drain in Kota Jaya, Kota Tinggi, Johor earlier this afternoon.
Kota Tinggi police chief Yusof Othman said the incident occurred at around 3pm when there was heavy rain, with strong currents, Bernama reported.
Police and firemen are now looking for the boy.
