PETALING JAYA: A search and rescue operation has been launched for two fishermen after the boat they were on capsized in the waters off Keracut near Kuala Sungai Pinang, Penang.
Barat Daya police chief Sazalee Adam said a missing person’s report was filed for the Malaysians yesterday. They were on a blue and red coloured boat which did not have a registration number.
“The search and rescue operation is ongoing. Members of the public with information on the incident can contact their nearest police station or the Barat Daya police at 04-8664122,” he said in a statement.
