PETALING JAYA:
A forensic police vehicle turned turtle on the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) this morning when it skidded while negotiating a bend.

Ampang Jaya police chief Azam Ismail said the driver lost control of the pickup truck during rain. It then crashed into the guardrail and turned turtle, blocking the left lane.

Five policemen in their 30s to 50s were in the vehicle, but only two of them suffered light injuries. No other vehicle was involved in the 9am incident.

The duo were treated at Ampang Hospital and allowed to go home.

“The case is being probed under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act for careless and inconsiderate driving,” said Azam in a statement.
