
“I don’t know when the disciplinary board will make a recommendation,” Fahmi told reporters when asked about the status of the proceedings.
He also said the party’s central leadership had yet to meet to discuss the matter.
Last week, Hassan was summoned by PKR’s disciplinary board over his public criticisms of the government, including Putrajaya’s decision to award the rollout of the second 5G network to U Mobile.
The Pasir Gudang MP was also accused of smearing PKR’s image and insulting the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
PKR disciplinary board chairman Tan Yee Kew said a final decision on Hassan’s fate would be made by the top leadership.
On Saturday, Hassan was reported to have said that he would not appeal any disciplinary action that would be taken against him, including the possibility of having his party membership suspended.
Hassan said he would respect the party’s decision-making process.
