PETALING JAYA:
The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) successfully hosted the PTPTN Run 2024 on Sunday, drawing an impressive turnout of 3,000 participants at Dataran DBKL in Kuala Lumpur.

The PTPTN Run, co-organised with the Koperasi Pusat Pungutan Zakat (KoPPZ), is part of the organisation’s corporate social responsibility efforts to encourage healthy living through sports and also as a gesture of appreciation for the support from their customers.

The run featured three distances – 3km, 5km, and 7km – allowing participants of all ages, from children to senior citizens, to join in the fun.

The event kicked off with a cycling flag-off for 200 participants, followed by the running event, which was officiated by Ruji Ubi, a board member of PTPTN.

Various activities were held in conjunction with the run, including aerobics sessions, quizzes about PTPTN, and a lucky draw offering a total of RM10,000 in cash prizes.

PTPTN CEO Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said the event was a sincere effort by PTPTN to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

“This practice not only positively impacts physical health but also contributes to mental and emotional well-being.

“I hope this programme will foster a healthy community, enhancing societal well-being and national productivity,” he said in a statement.
