2 dead after car crashes into wall at Sungai Besi toll plaza

The Selangor fire and rescue department says the victims were trapped in the front of their vehicle.

PETALING JAYA:
Two men were killed when their car crashed into a wall at the Sungai Besi toll plaza on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) early this morning.

Selangor fire and rescue department assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said they received a call about the accident involving two elderly men at 3.42am.

He said seven firefighters and a fire engine from the Seri Kembangan station were dispatched to the scene.

“Both victims were trapped in the front of the vehicle. The firefighters successfully extricated the victims but both were pronounced dead by health ministry officials,” he said in a statement.
